Here we are having spring break with bored kids, so I started searching for Easter Crafts. I wanted to share 10 of my favorites with you just in case you are in the same situation as I am with kids running around with yucky weather outside and need some fun stuff to do indoors so why not some Easter crafts.

The Easter Egg Shell craft

This this craft is a fun simple craft that is really easy to do. It is a great one for all ages from 2 on up.

  • Some paper and a pencil (I used a crayon)
  • Your dyed egg shells
  • Some craft glue
  • Optional ear bud to spread the glue on the paper

This fun and frugal Easter craft they are simple for all kids to enjoy from the less creative to the most creative.

Decoupage Easter Egg Craft

This is one that I love, this craft is perfect to safe those little treasures in or maybe to make and put a little gift for a loved one. Another idea is every year put a small thing to safe, when they get older they will have a little something to remember each Easter.


Materials:

plastic eggs that split in half

decoupage glue or watered down PVA,

decoupage paper

paint brush and scissors

DIY Chalkboard Easter Eggs.

This is one Easter Craft idea I would have never thought of if it wasn’t for Pintrest. A way to keep the ideas coming and redecorating your eggs over and over what fun.

Materials Needed:

  • Chalkboard Paint
  • Acrylic or ceramic eggs
  • Egg cups or an upside down egg carton
  • Plastic wrap
  • Colored chalk

Washi Tape Easter Egg

Ok when I first seen this craft I had to look up what the heck washi tape was. All this time I seriously thought I was an in the know person, boy was I wrong. Well kinda after I figured it out I just called it cute tape. This craft is easy to make! You can make it with the kids or let them go crazy on their own while you can sneak a few minutes to yourself 🙂

What You Need:

  • Craft foam egg shapes
  • Washi tape

DIY Book Page Easter Egg Chicks

If you know me you know I love books, it seems the amount of books I have seem to grow by the day, I do have a few books that have seen better days but I hate to part with them. So, when I came across this craft I thought what a great way to keep them with me in a fun way.

Materials

  1. Dyed book pages from previous step
  2. Paper Mache Easter Egg (Craft store)
  3. Mod Podge (I used glossy)
  4. All Purpose Glue
  5. Small pieces of thick cardstock or thin cardboard (for wings)
  6. Glue on eyes
  7. Mini Pom Poms (I wanted orange, and of course my pack didn’t have any.  I simply used  an orange marker to color a white Pom orange).

Fuzzy Chicks Easter Eggs

These are a fun unique way to decorate for Easter. This Easter Craft is a good way to spark kids creativity.

  • corn grits / instant polenta (the more yellow the better)
  • eggs for decorating + one egg for glue
  • sugar
  • orange card stock

DIY Easter Egg Garland

This is one messier Easter crafts. However it is really pretty, in our house I know the perfect place to hang it. My daughter even as a teenager loves to get her fingers all messy and gooey so this is great for all ages.

  • Wide, shallow bowl

Easter Egg Bath Bombs

Well after all of these Easter crafts you may need a relaxing bath, or maybe your kids want to make a special gift for some loved ones in your life these bath bombs are awesome and easy to make for about 6 and up.

ingredients (Will make 6 large bath bombs)

  • 8 oz. Baking soda
  • 4 oz. Epsom salt
  • 4 oz. Cornstarch
  • 4 oz. Citric acid
  • 3 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoons essential oil or fragrance oil for soaps, etc.
  • 2-5 drops food coloring
  • Larger plastic Easter eggs or silicone/plastic mold
  • Confetti sprinkles (optional)
